Delphine Dénéréaz works with salvaged textiles using the traditional medieval technique of “rag rug”, allowing recycling and reuse. In doing so, correlated with a responsible and ecological approach, she confers a sentimental charge to these trivial materials, scraps and motifs that she weaves by taking inspiration from symbols, pictograms, logos, acronyms and other contemporary signs, manifesting both belonging (to a group, a generation, a belief…) and the quest for individual identity.
